Orangeries

A ROOM TO ADMIRE AND RELAX IN

Orangeries originated in the Renaissance period in Italy and were a popular addition to the grounds of fashionable, wealthy residences from the 17th – 19th centuries including in England, with notable Georgian examples such as Kensington Palace and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.  Not only did they offer practical accommodation for citrus trees and other exotic plants during the harsh winter months, they provided a grand and luxurious extension for relaxing and socialising in.  The very essence of refinement.

A luxury bespoke orangery, designed and manufactured by Dukesbury Garden Rooms, will blend a timeless look and elegant details such as pilasters (ornamental columns), fascias and deep cornicing, with the added benefits of the finest materials and state-of-the-art glass technology.  It is these qualities that make our orangeries stunning, whether they are to be used as a kitchen or dining room, or simply a stylish room to relax in while enjoying views out to the garden, whatever the time of year.

Like all our creations, there is a wide choice of heritage colours available and we can advise as to what will work best to co-ordinate with any existing decoration or garden colour scheme.

Please contact us if you need any further information about how we can help design, manufacture and install a bespoke orangery for you.

The orangery added on to our kitchen, has exceeded our expectations.  We are thrilled with the quality of the workmanship, the way it has transformed the kitchen, and working with a firm who deliver when they say, and to the quality that has been promised.
